Item is the documentary film Klondike Days. Part of a series of documentaries titled, In the Archives, the film is concerned with disclosing the power of archival materials – photographs and texts – to evoke historical memory and a sense of place and time. Featuring materials from the JD McGregor collection held at the SJ McKee Archives, this segment of In the Archives explores Klondike gold rush era images of Skagway, Dawson City, the Chilcott and White passes assembled by McGregor during his time in the Klondike.
